Ex-Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron makes a surprising decision on his comeback to hockey

Patrice Bergeron is regarded as an icon in Boston, and served his entire career with the organization.

Within 2003 to 2023, this impeccable forward was a constant for the Bruins, with the iconic forward playing in a massive role for Boston's 2011 Stanley Cup Championship.

This former fan-favourite announced his retirement following his 2023 NHL campaign, where he would later state a year later that he is extremely happy in retirement.

Unfortunately, Bergeron ended up calling it a career from the NHL, everyone hoped that he would end up taking on a role in the hockey scene.

Boston Bruins fans were happy to hear that Bergeron is officially returning back to the hockey scene as he took on a new role.

It was confirmed that Patrice Bergeron is going to be making a return to hockey through a podcast.

La Poche Bleue revealed that he will be joining them this year.

This could be the former captain taking a role in front office somewhere, or even on a coaching staff.

Although it is uncertain what the future holds for this former fan-favourite, Boston fans are extremely excited to see Bergeron back on the big screen.
