Jakub Zboril recently had his contract terminated, and now there are reports that he is eyeing a return to the NHL.

A former first-round pick of the Boston Bruins career may be coming to an end after a recent announcement confirmed that his contract was terminated.

Jakub Zboril's contract officially terminated

It was just revealed that HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga has terminated former Bruins defenseman contract.
He ended up signing a PTO with the New Jersey Devils last off-season, but failed to earn a contract out of it.
After not earning a contract, Zboril ended up signing with the HC Dynamo Pardubice, and just 30 games into their season he had his contract terminated.
In the 30 regular season games he saw with Dynamo Pardubice, he ended up scoring two goals, 12 assists for 14 points, while being a plus-12.
He did appear in 16 playoff games as well with the club, where he ended up recording five assists.
Zboril was apart of the Don Sweeney's worst draft in 2015, where he had three straight picks in the first-round.
He was drafted 13th overall during the 2015 NHL Entry Level Draft.
Appearing in 76 games over fours seasons with the Boston Bruins, Zboril recorded 1 goal, 15 assists for 16 points along with 121 hits.
Last year, Zboril was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Andrew Peeke, and a 2027 third round pick.
The Boston Bruins hoped that Zboril would become a top-four defenseman, but he never ended up panning out.
