The former Boston defenseman, Brandon Carlo, delivers subtle cheap shot to the Bruins organization following his departure to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It has been revealed that Carlo has become quickly fond of becoming a Maple Leaf, despite arriving from their long-time division rival, the Boston Bruins.
Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Carlo's current optimism reflects a positive outlook on his recent trade.
On Tuesday, the former Bruin and his new team posed for their annual team picture, and due to Carlo's height, the organization forced him to remove his skates.
During the after-math of the photoshoot, he revealed he is quickly becoming a fan of wearing blue and white.
"I didn't have my skates on for the first couple. They had to make us look shorter. Me, Hakanpaa and Stevie Lorentz, all the tall guys to the back. But I'm definitely liking this blue."
It is always tough to see someone replace the Bruins jersey for another, especially for a blue and white one, however his trade on March 7 doesn't seem as though it was negatively impactful for the 28-year old, as it's only been a few weeks since his departure and he has already begun to forget his roots.
Despite Boston's unfortunate loss of this defenseman and the sour taste endured as he quickly became fond of the rivals, the Maple Leafs, fans still hope Carlo's arrival, current state and future with the Toronto Maple Leafs is positive, regardless of becoming a new rival.
