After losing an embarrassing game last night to the New York Rangers, who have been one of the worst teams in the NHL recently, a Bruins insider just hinted at two big moves the Bruins should make.
It's no secret the Bruins have lacked scoring and skill, along with speed upfront, and now Conor Ryan is calling for the organization to make two moves that would change things for the Boston Bruins.
Following their 2-1 loss to the New York Rangers last night, Conor Ryan took to social media to express that he feels the Boston Bruins would be a much better team if Fabian Lysell, and Matt Poitras were both added to the Bruins lineup.
From Ryan:
Both Matt Poitras, and Fabian Lysell have been tearing it up in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins this year, and have definitely earned a spot on the Bruins lineup.
Lysell got a chance not too long ago, and was very impressive in his NHL debut. Head coach Joe Sacco stated that he has definitely deserved another chance soon with the team.
Poitras on the other hand made the Bruins roster out of training camp, but only played 14 games with the Bruins before he was sent down to the American Hockey League.
Both Poitras and Lysell could come in and completely change the Bruins third line who has been horrible for the Bruins this year.
