Jim Montgomery, head coach of the Boston Bruins, didn't mince words following their recent loss.
Expressing his frustration, he stated,
"We didn't finish the game. It's inexcusable. You can't be up 3-1 with five minutes left and go to overtime and lose."
He attributed the loss to a "lack of poise with the puck." According to Montgomery, there were moments when he thought the game was sealed, with the puck on a Bruins stick, only for them to miss crucial clears. This turn of events left him disappointed with the team's performance.
