Joe Sacco was GM Don Sweeney's choice to replace former Head Coach Jim Montgomery, and now he and Cam Neely may have to face the fact the Boston Bruins may need a new coach in July.

In the last sixteen games the Boston Bruins have played, they have gone 3-13-0. A dismal stat line for a team that is supposed to be recovering from an underperforming start of the season.
But it looks as if Jim Montgomery wasn't wholly to blame for the Bruins situation, as Joe Sacco has continued the losing which led to Monty's termination.
Now, with April upon us, could Sacco find himself in a situation where he's teeing up at the beginning of April, or will it be July?
Given how recalcitrant GM Don Sweeney and President Cam Neely seem to be to change, it might be July in our opinion.
Let's not forget that while Don Sweeney has been GM since 2016, he's never once caught the blame for the situation the team is in.
Joe Sacco could end up ostensibly losing his job as another sacrificial lamb to the good old boys club that Jeremy Jacobs is enabling.
Sacco at the moment is 22-23-06 with the Boston Bruins and 7th in the Atlantic Division.
A pitiful record for Sacco who had high hopes of course-correcting for a Bruins team he's been an assistant coach with since the 2014-2015 NHL season.
While the true culprit here in our opinion is Don Sweeney.
His near-perfect accounting of his record with the Bruins fails to mention his failings and lack of quality draft picks in Boston.
The team's nine-year record at the helm is 425-194-81 for a . 665 win percentage, which ranks first in the NHL over that span. He has twice won the President's Trophy with the league's top mark, and the team has a current stretch of eight straight playoff appearances.

Nevertheless, Sacco ostensibly if we take a one-dimensional look at the picture of the Bruins team does deserve a better coach.
However, do the Bruins fans deserve a better team and a better GM?
Also, yes.
