Many fans around the league wonder what it looks and sounds line in the front offices when a team makes a massive trade. Well there was a video of that exact moment when the Boston Bruins ended up trading Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers at the NHL trade deadline.

General Manager Don Sweeney ended up walking into the room after getting off a phone call that completed the trade, and the entire room was silent.

Other then Sweeney talking, you can hear a member of the Bruins management say 'Jesus Christ' under his breath, but other then that, no one else said a single word except Sweeney.

Sweeney broke the news to the Bruins management just nine minutes before the 3 p.m. Eastern Time deadline, and this is what he had to say:

Sweeney then went pretty quiet himself, and turned his palm up basically indicating "there it is".

This was a franchise shifting moment, as Brad Marchand spent his entire 16-year career with the Boston Bruins after being drafted by them.

Marchand, when speaking about the trade, nearly bursted into tears, but had nothing but good things to say about General Manager Don Sweeney.

It's not clear when Marchand is going to make his debut with the Florida Panthers, as he is still sidelined with an injury.

During the 16-years Marchand spent with the Boston Bruins he recorded 422 goals, 976 points in 1,090 games.
