Multiple Boston Bruins Players Had A Shocking Response To Being Booed Off The Ice By Fans

After another tough, and embarrassing effort from the Boston Bruins, fans were not happy and booed them off of their own ice at TD Garden. Following the game, multiple players had shocking responses to being booed off the ice.

The Boston Bruins entered last night just two points out of a wildcard spot, and a win would have went a long way for them. Unfortunately they get heavily out played, and fans expressed their feelings towards them during the dying seconds.
Boston ended the first period in a solid position, being tied 1-1 with Tampa and were only being outshot 10-8, but things got ugly in the second period.
Tampa Bay held the Bruins to 0 shots in the second period, and outshot them 21-0. They would also go on to score three goals giving them a 4-1 lead entering the third period.
In the third period, the Boston Bruins would score a quick goal just 23 seconds into the period, but Tampa would go on to score two more goals, both being empty netters.
The Lightning ended up outshooting the Boston Bruins 40-12 and beating them by a final score of 6-2, and in the dying seconds Boston Bruins fans booed the team off of the ice.

After the game, multiple Boston Bruins spoke out about being booed off of the ice.

Bruins Players Speak Out On Being Booed Off The Ice

During their media scrums Pavel Zacha, Elias Lindholm, and Joe Sacco spoke on being booed off of the ice, and they all had some shocking responses.
Lindholm stated that the Boston Bruins effort in the second period was completely embarrassing, and that there was no compete level from the team. He also stated that it was unacceptable, and that the fans had every right to boo them when they play like that:
#NHLBruins Elias Lindholm, "Not sure what happened in the second (period). It was embarrassing. Compete level was nowhere to be found. Unacceptable overall...(Fans) have every right to boo when the effort is like that. The 2nd period was the worse I've seen us play all year."
Zacha had a similar response to Lindholm, stating that the Bruins deserved to hear it from the fans, and that not getting a shot on net in the second period was embarrassing:
Pavel Zacha on the boos at the end of the second period: «We deserved it. We didn't get a shot on net in the period. It's embarrassing.»
Joe Sacco didn't speak much about the Bruins being booed off of the ice, but stated that his team has not been good enough, and they are hopeful to have a better outing on Monday.
