According to Boston Bruins insider Gayle Troiani of NESN, the organization is using two specific players for leverage come free agency this summer as they've made their true feelings known.

It's been a dreadful season for Bruins faithful to witness in Boston, but brighter day are ahead.
Many signs of hope and promise were shown near the end of their 82-game season just recently, with wins against various contending teams such as a 5-1 beating on the Carolina Hurricanes and a 7-2 dwelling defeat on the New Jersey Devils.
With a great season-end and momentum building as anticipation looms for the 2025 NHL off-season, free agency on July 1st may appear to be as exciting as Christmas Day for Bruins fans.
Don Sweeney, who dealt Brad Marchand, Brandon Carlo and several others at the March 7th trade deadline is set to be one of the most active general managers this off-season when free agency comes around to complete his 're-tooling' process.
With the Bruins being captain-less with the loss of Marchand and one of their only stars remaining being forward David Pastrnak, it will be tough to showcase the city of Boston as a prime landing spot, but according to recent reports, two players' statements beg to differ:
The Bruins' Nikita Zadorov revealed his positive outlook on the organization, stating Boston offers 'all pieces of the future'.
«Why would they not want to come here? I mean, it's an Original Six team. It's a great city to play in,» he said. «We have one of the best players in the world. We have one of the best goalies in the world. We have two really good defensemen who were out pretty much for a whole year. We have all the pieces for the future. We just need to add it up. We have a breakout player of the year, probably. So, I mean, it's a great organization, great management, great leadership up top.»

Zadorov isn't the only one expressing his appreciation and love for the city, the newly acquired 22-year old Russian, Marat Khusnutdinov, who will become a restricted free agent this summer, has expresses his desire to sign an extension with the Bruins.
«So happy. Yeah, so happy,» Khusnutdinov stated. «Perfect organization, good city.»
He continued.
«Perfect. The guys helped me. Our coaches helped me,» he said. «Feels great here. It's a little bit of a different system. It's so fast. It's good hockey. Good trainers and players which is everything.» The 22-year old stated. «It's not a perfect season. Not a great season for me, but glad to be here. It's a good city, good fans, good organization.»

With this being said, the Boston Bruins organization may want to considering using both Zadorov and Khusnutdinov as recruiters this offseason when free agency begins, on July 1st, 2025.
