With game one just a couple of hours away for Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers, the organization just announced a massive move with Matthew Tkachuk that's going to affect the team.
The Florida Panthers have been without Matthew Tkachuk for awhile now. He got injured during the 4 Nations Tournament and has yet to play a game since then.
This is easily going to be one of the most annoying lines in the NHL. Sadly we have yet to see them all play together yet due to Tkachuk being injured, but an announcement today may change that.
Florida Panthers Announce A Move With Matthew Tkachuk
Just a couple hours before the game, the Florida Panthers announced that Matthew Tkachuk has been activated from Injury Reserve.
Now this doesn't mean that he is going to play tonight, as we saw this happen last night with
Gabriel Landeskog.
The
Avalanche ended up activating Landeskog just moments before the game, and he took the warmup skate, but in the end he was a healthy scratch for the game, and we could see that happen again tonight with Tkachuk.
Getting Tkachuk back would be huge, he basically is the heart and sole of the Florida Panthers, and they are easily a better team with him, then without him.
