Newly signed Boston Bruins defenseman revealed his true colours towards the organization.
After signing a one-year deal with the Boston Bruins in the off-season, Jordan Harris stated that he is thrilled to be apart of the Bruins organziation.
Harris hit free agency on July 1st, and he wasn't sure where he was going to go, but the Boston Bruins showed interest, and he knew that was a place he would sign.
The 25-year-old defenseman is from the Mass arean, and he couldn't turn down being able to play for his hometown team.

«I was really excited when I heard Boston could be a possibility,» Harris recently said to BostonBruins.com. «I told my parents and everything once I found out. They were so pumped - my whole family, buddies.»
In the off-season, the Bruins signed Harris to a one-year, $825,000 contract, and has been competing for a roster spot.
«Honestly, being able to put the jersey on for the first time was probably the coolest part of the whole thing,» Harris added. «It is surreal. I grew up watching the B's since I was four years old. It's really cool to be part of it now.»
Harris has passed the first wave of roster cuts, which is a good sign, and he currently remains with the NHL team as camp is coming to a close.
New head coach, Marco Sturm stated he has been pretty impressed with Harris so far in camp.
«He definitely stepped up from game one to game two. Moved his feet, always had a good stick,» Sturm said. «It helps a lot when a player can skate and trust his skating. I think he's one of them. There are a few little things I think we just have to work on, but overall, he had a really good performance [on Saturday] and hopefully he can build on that.»
The defenseman has appeared in 164 career NHL games, scoring 9 goals, 28 assists for 37 points.
Last season he split the year with the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Montreal Canadiens.
