In a recent ranking, it seems like the NHL disrespected Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy publicly to the media.
The Boston Bruins have a very different looking team heading into the season, but their backbones are clearly
David Pastrnak and Charlie McAvoy.
Not only is McAvoy a force on offense, but he is one of the Bruins better defensive players as well.

What do you think of our list?
There is an argument that could be made there for
McAvoy to be listed higher up on this list.
A Bruins insider asked how Boston Bruins fans ended up feeling about this, and the answers where very different.
#NHLBruins fans: Thoughts on Charlie McAvoy being ranked as the 11th best defenseman in the NHL? Accurate? Too high, low? Where could, or should he be ranked?
Some fans felt he was perfectly ranked, some felt he was too high/low, and some believe that his health has played a role in it:
I think that's about right.
Definitely has potential to rise up but without more offensive production I'm afraid he'll never capture a Norris in his career.
Probably a little low, availability/ Health & maybe placed higher if Bruins win the cup 2 years ago.
As much as it shouldn't matter team results seem to influence these things a bit.
