With how badly the Boston Bruins have been struggling recently, many fans believe that fan favourites currently playing in Providence should be on the NHL roster. Well a recent announcement revealed the Bruins may just be doing that.
The past couple of games have been ugly for the Boston Bruins. After the NHL trade deadline, the Bruins looked really good, beating both the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning, but since then they have come back down to earth.
Since winning those two games, the Boston Bruins have returned back to form and have lost three in a row, with all of them being pretty embarrassing.
The team has struggled, and goaltending has not helped them out as they have given up 15 goals in the three game losing streak while only scoring 7 goals.
Changes may finally be coming for the Boston Bruins though, as a insider revealed that fan favourite Fabian Lysell may be coming up to the NHL.

Bruins insider Mike Divver revealed this morning that Fabian Lysell was not present for the Providence Bruins practice.

Another Bruins insider Mark Allred stated that Boston Bruins practice begins at 11:30 this morning, and we won't know for sure until then.

With how badly the Boston Bruins have been playing, it wouldn't hurt them to see how someone like Lysell performs at the NHL level considering he has only appeared in 1 NHL game in his career, and that was earlier this year where he looked impressive.
