Recent healthy scratch sparks major trade rumours involving the Boston Bruins
This morning, it was announced that two Boston Bruins players are going to heatlhy scratched ahead of their game vs the Toronto Maple Leafs, and it has sparked some trade rumours.
The main three that have surfaced in trade rumours a lot have been Frederic, Marchand and Brazeau, and today the trade rumours sparked even more after a player was confirmed to be a healthy scratch tonight.
Joe Sacco Confirmed Two Players As Healthy Scratch
Joe Sacco met with the media following their practice this morning, and revealed that two players will be sitting out for their rivalry match against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Those players are going to be
Riley Tufte and Justin Brazeau, and this has sparked some trade rumours.
Cole Koepke and
Oliver Wahlstrom are in and Riley Tufte and Justin Brazeau are out of the lineup tonight vs the Maple Leafs. Joe Sacco referenced speed vs Toronto as factoring into the decision.
Joe Sacco stated that they were coming out of the lineup because he wants more speed against the Leafs, but this didn't stop the rumours from pouring in.
Justin Brazeau has been at the centre of attention for the Bruins this year in the rumour mill, and him being healthy scratched has heated things up.
Justin Brazeau from the Boston Bruins will be only a healthy scratch tonight against Toronto. There are a few teams with interest in Brazeau, who is a pending UFA. He's playing good hockey at 3rd line level this season.
It will be interesting to see if him being a healthy scratch today leads to something soon.
