Rumor: Boston Bruins trade goaltender Joonas Korpisalo following free agency
As the 2025 offseason has already started off strong for the Boston Bruins, they are no where near done undergoing their offseason moves.
Reports are suggesting this summer is going to be a big one for the organization, as they enter a re-tool in hopes to become bigger competitors for the 2025/26 NHL season.
That being said, there has been a lot of speculations that the Boston Bruins are interested in moving on from a net-minder, as this area has been undoubtedly lacking throughout the 2024-25 NHL season.
And Korpisalo has been suggested to be the first one out.
Especially following Korpisalo calling out the organization after the end of the season interviews.
However, a new development has surfaced in Boston regarding his departure, due to the fact the Bruins organization confirmed the signing of alternative net-minder,
Michael DiPietro.
Leaving many to begin speculating that Korpisalo is one step closer to the door.
A reporter, Jimmy Murphy, unveiled yesterday morning, July 1, that he has heard plenty of trade chatter circulating around this goaltender.

At this time, it is not certain where
Joonas Korpisalo will land this offseason, but all fingers are pointing at his departure this summer.
