A new turn of events have surfaced in the Boston Bruins organization trading their first-round seventh overall draft pick, and it's surprising.

The Boston Bruins scored a No. 7 overall pick recently during the NHL Entry Draft, and new insight has unfolded regarding what the organization intends to do with this draft selection.
The organization is currently desperate for a franchise center, and with a top-10 pick in a center-heavy draft, the chance to fill that role has never been better for Boston.
With that being said, the Bruins are in a position to make a franchise-altering decision.

A shocking mock trade reveals the Boston Bruins will land on of the most intriguing names on the board: Roger McQueen

Reporter, Corey Pronman from the Athletic, recently revealed a mock trade with a full projection of all 224 picks on the market this summer, and the Bruins' landed an unexpected forward, Roger McQueen.
The Brandon Wheat Kings standout checks plenty of boxes for the Boston Bruins.
At an impressive 6-foot-5, 192 pounds, McQueen brings the NHL size as well as a smooth set of skills.
According to EliteProspects, not only does McQueen have size, he also brings an immense amount of talent to the table, as this 18-year old is capable of navigating tight spaces with stick-handling abilities and strong vision, whilst using his length to maintain possession and exploit passing lanes.
However, one downside of the acquisition of this forwards is that McQueen's draft stock comes with some real risk.
The 18-year old played in just 17 games this past season, due to a lower back problem that was diagnosed as a stress fracture in his lower spine (known as spondylolysis).
While it is a treatable injury, it may raise some red flags for NHL teams who are interested in McQueen.
Despite his recent injury, if the Bruins' front office believes this back injury won't linger, McQueen could be the high rewards swing Boston is in desperate need of.
Do you think the Boston Bruins will acquire Roger McQueen with their No. 7 draft pick this summer?
