Team USA just made a big announcement involving Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy ahead of the Four Nations Tournament.
A major announcement was just made from Team USA involving Charlie McAvoy, and has left many surprised.
Earlier in the day, Elliotte Friedman revealed that Finland, Sweden, USA, and Canada were set to announce their captains for the upcoming Four Nations tournament.

It's now past the deadline for Team USA to announce their captains, and they did not let fans down.
To no surprise Auston Matthews was announced the captain of Team USA. They also revealed that Matthew Tkachuk and Charlie McAvoy were going to be the assistant captains of Team USA.
