A recent report has unveiled that the Boston Bruins organization is set to depart with two key players this offseason and the reason behind it has been revealed.
The Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, and the front office have undergone a very busy offseason thus far, filled with an immense amount of decisions, such as, who to re-sign, who to depart with, and who to acquire?
Luckily enough, this Original Six franchise still has some time to continue their pursuit towards fulfilling these questions, as the 2025/26 NHL regular season only begins in October.
With that said, there are two trades that the Boston Bruins organization are expected to completed prior to the beginning of next season.
Boston Bruins set to depart with two more players this offseason
Two Boston Bruins players whose names have been looming the rumor mill for some time would be Pavel Zacha and Casey Mittelstadt.
These speculations and rumors surfaced near the end of the 2024/25 NHL season, and are still currently circulating.
Recent insight has surfaced the media regarding why the Boston Bruins are set to depart with Zacha and Mittelstadt
NHL Rumor Reports made a post on social media, via «X», revealing that Jeff Marek wouldn't be surprised to see the Boston Bruins depart with these two players.
