Transaction: It is now confirmed for the Boston Bruins and Valdimir Tarasenko
It was just confirmed for Russian superstar Vladimir Tarasenko and the Boston Bruins.
There were many rumours that the Pittsburgh Penguins were all in on the recent Stanley Cup Champion, but ultimately he has signed with the Detroit Red Wings.
The price to acquire Tarasenko makes you wonder why Don Sweeney wasn't interested in trying to sign him. He just won the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers and has scored 30+ goals in 6 seasons and also scored 40 once.
This would have been the perfect replacement for Jake DeBrusk and having him on a line or power play with David Pastrnak could have been deadly.
HEADED TO THE TARASENK-SHOW!
The #RedWings today signed forward Vladimir Tarasenko to a two-year contract with an AAV of $4.75M.
Do you think the Bruins should have tried to sign Tarasenko for $4.75 million or made the right choice not trying too?
