There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Sam Bennett's future with the Florida Panthers after winning back-to-back Stanley Cups.

With them having to re-sign players like Brad Marchand, Aaron Ekblad, and Sam Bennett, everyone is wondering how they are going to be able to pull it off.
Well last night, while celebrating their Stanley Cup victory, Sam Bennett ended up sending Don Sweeney a direct message.

Sam Bennett is not leaving

The Boston Bruins were a team that have been linked to Sam Bennett, if he were to hit the free agent market.
It would be a great replacement for Brad Marchand after Don Sweeney traded him away during the NHL trade deadline.
There is no doubt that Don Sweeney would have at least poked around at Bennett if he hit the open market, especially with all the cap space the Bruins have this off-season.
But Bennett just made it clear that he does not want to leave, and he isn't going anywhere.
He may have just lost all leverage in contract talks though, as he openly admitted that he is not going to be leaving.
SAM BENNETT AIN'T FU**ING LEAVING!
There were rumors that Bennett was going to fetch upwards of $10 million a year on his next deal if he hit the open market.
Now it seems unlikely that is going to happen.
He may also take a discount considering there is no state tax in Florida, and so the organization can bring back a player like Brad Marchand.
The Florida Panthers have $19 million in cap space this summer, but have some big names they need to re-sign.
