Florida Panthers Brad Marchand is already involved in some controversy after a dirty play against Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender went uncalled, and Leafs fans are not happy.
Toronto fans are use to seeing Brad Marchand after his long career with the Boston Bruins. He is not liked in the Scotibank Arena, and last night Marchand gave them a reason to still not like him.
Marchand purposely took out Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender
Joseph Woll behind the net right in front of the referee, and there was no call on the play.
Following the play,
Woll was seen arguing with the ref, wondering why there was no call on the play as he could have easily been injured.
Not long after this happened, Brad Marchand ended up giving Woll a snow shower.
Scott Laughton wasn't a fan of this and started giving it to Brad Marchand near the bench:
The Toronto Maple Leafs ended up getting the last laugh after beating the Panthers and are now up 2-0 in the series.
Brad Marchand has had the Maple Leafs number in the past, but right now it's not looking too good for him and the Panthers.
Do you think Brad Marchand got away with this dirty play or was it the right call to not give him a penalty?
