Announcement From The Toronto Maple Leafs Benefits Brad Marchand and The Florida Panthers Ahead Of Game 2
According to teammates and head coach Craig Berube,
Anthony Stolarz is doing better after being admitted to the hospital after his hit to the head from
Sam Bennett during game one.
Joesph Woll had to come into the game and replace Stolarz, and gave up three third period goals to the Florida Panthers, but ended up getting the win for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Stolarz was being considered for game 2 against the Panthers, but at morning skate on Wednesday ahead of their game, it was confirmed who would be in the starting net.
Brad Marchand and Florida Panthers Benefit From Recent Announcement
Stolarz did not take the ice for morning skate, and instead, Joesph Woll was placed into the starting net during practice, indicating that he will be the starter for game 2 against the Panthers.
This is huge for the Florida Panthers considering
Woll only faced 17 shots during the first game, and allowed three pretty weak goals.
He finished the game with a 6.21 goals against average, and a .850 save percentage.
If Woll can't find his game, this could change the outcome of the series, especially with how good Stolarz was playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
