Suspension? The NHL Department of Player Safety Just Confirmed It For Florida Panthers Matthew Tkachuk

After throwing a dirty hit on Tampa Bay Lightning's forward Jake Guentzel, the NHL Department of Player Safety has made a decision on if Florida Panthers Matthew Tkachuk will be suspended or not.
During game two of the Panthers-Lightning series, Brandon Hagel ended up throwing a massive hit on captain Aleksander Barkov of the Florida Panthers:
He would end up getting suspended for one game by the NHL Department of Player Safety, and would go on to miss game 3.
During game three, Matthew Tkachuk ended up throwing a similar hit to Hagel, and the Department of Player Safety just made a decision on if he is going to be suspended or not.

After reveiwing the play, the NHL Department of Player Safety has come to the conulsion that Tkachuk's hit was not as bad as Hagel's and will not have a hearing or be suspended for it:

*Guentzel touched puck

Decision sounds like it came down to the hit not being as forceful as Hagel's hit on Barkov. No head on contact. And Guentzel played the puck.
