Muzzin suffered an brutal injury towards the end of the regular season and many had believed it was a career ending injury.
Muzzin initially became a part of the Maple Leafs' roster through a trade with the Los Angeles Kings in January of 2019. Over the course of his career, which spanned 683 regular season games between Los Angeles and Toronto, the Woodstock, Ontario native tallied an impressive 294 points, comprising 69 goals and 225 assists.
