Leafs' Fans Are Divided on Team's Decision Regarding Pride Night
The Maple Leafs have made a controversial decision according to some of their fanbase, ahead of their Pride Night Game on Tuesday.
Maple Leafs Won't Wear Pride Jerseys
Despite the choice to not wear Pride Jerseys being questioned by fans, it was pointed out by Sportsnet's Luke Fox that Toronto has never worn the warmup sweaters.
Obviously, it's not an excuse, especially regarding a topic that has been highly controversial across the entire NHL as of late. Defenseman Morgan Rielly touched on the subject:
''I believe actions speak louder than words, and especially speak louder than attire.''
