Now that the Stanley Cup Playoffs are officially complete, with the Vegas Golden Knights hoisting Lord Stanley on Tuesday.
All attention now turns towards the off-season and what may be store, especially around this time of year. June and July get pretty busy especially for some teams who have been quiet since the start of April.
Key NHL dates coming up to circle on your calendar are June 15: 1st buyout window opens, June 26: NHL awards, June 28-29: NHL entry draft, June 30: Deadline for qualifying offers and 1st buyout window closes, July 1st: Free agency opens, July 5th: Deadline to file for arbitration.
As well look out for the 2023-24 NHL schedule to be released week of the draft.
This summer should be action packed with tons of trades, signings, and more. With a lot of teams in rebuild mood and looking to shake things up, expect a lot of things to change again like in the past couple years.
