The Bruins once again played a dominant third period (and came from behind) to win their 29th game of the season yesterday.
Boston scored two goals to top the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in the Winter Classic at Fenway Park on Monday and it was in big thanks to Nick Foligno.
The veteran Foligno asked head coach Jim Montgomery for the room after the team was trailing 1-0 after two periods.
And Jake Debrusk (2 goals) relayed to the media post game what that emotional rally speech was:
''This is an event. It's a dream come true. And we don't want to waste it. You don't want to come after a game like tonight and think that you could've done more.''
''We know what we can do together as a group. We're the best third-period team in the league — and let's go prove it.''
''Uncle Nick'' as he's also known as, is enjoying a bounce back season with 6 goals and 10 assists in 37 games.
