Arizona Coyotes new jersey ad couldn't be more ironic

The jokes are just never ending when it comes to the Arizona Coyotes!
First, it was getting kicked out of Gila River Arena for unpaid bills and taxes at the end of the 2021-22 season. Then, the club announced they would be sharing a 5000 seat capacity arena with Arizona State University for at least the next three seasons.
Now, the Coyotes unveiled their franchise first jersey advertisment, and it's pretty much the most ironic thing ever. The Coyotes' jersey sponsor is none other than Gila River Resorts and Casinos(see old arena name). Talk about the irony and comedic aspect.
The Coyotes were ousted by the Gila River Arena by the City of Glendale, AZ and then they turn around and sell a jersey ad to the company who has the naming rights to the Arena they were kicked out of.
It seems like the franchise just can't get out of their own way when it comes to being the laughing stock of the NHL. However, at the same time, when you're struggling with performance on the ice and finance off the ice, you have to take what you can get for sponsorships.
