Brad Marchand signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs: A major development has surfaced

The NHL free agency is right around the corner, and Brad Marchand may be hitting the open market for the first time in his career, which could lead to him signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Brad Marchand was a key factor in the Florida Panthers being back-to-back Stanley Cup winners this year.
In 23 games during the NHL playoffs, Brad Marchand ended up scoring 10 goals, with three of them being game winners, and 10 assists for 20 points.
A majority of his goals ended up coming against the Edmonton Oilers during the Stanley Cup Finals, helping the Panthers claim back-to-back Cups.
Toronto Maple Leafs set to offer Brad Marchand a massive contract
Insider Nick Kypreos reported that the Toronto Maple Leafs may be the only team willing to offer Marchand the exact deal he is looking for.
Kypreos believes the Maple Leafs are willing to offer Marchand a four-year deal, something no other team may be willing to match for the 37-year-old.

Recently, Brad Marchand hinted at signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs with a comment on Instagram:

If this is a glimpse of where Marchand is going to sign, it could come down to being either the Toronto Maple Leafs, or the Florida Panthers.
