With forward David Pastrnak sidelined for the next couple of weeks, the Boston Bruins were forced to make a roster move on Wednesday.
Many believed that it would be Ryan Donato called back up to play in the NHL however general manager Don Sweeney and management decided to go in a different direction.
The team decided to called up Karson Kuhlman up from the Providence Bruins.
The 23 year old currently has 12 goals and 13 assists for Providence so far this season.
The undrafted forward played two games for Providence last year and registered an assist.
