The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced some major injury news on Tuesday. Sweeney revealed that forward David Pastrnak underwent a procedure on his left thumb. Repair was successful. He will be out for the next two weeks and then be re-evaluated. Terrible news for the Bruins as they're currently looking for secondary scoring and have now lost their primary goal scoring forward. Add that Pastrnak will only be re-evaluated in two weeks, who knows what the possible time table for his return is. More to come.
