The NHL Player Safety department just made the announcement online.
Boston Bruins forward
Taylor Hall received a $5000 fine, the maximum allowable under the league's CBA, for roughing Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman
Ilya Lyubushkin yesterday.
The play created quite the stir on social media last night. Maple Leafs fans were calling for Hall to get a suspension, refering to his gesture as a blatant sucker punch. Toronto fans wen't as deep as calling Hall's gesture as the "Bertuzzi 2.0" incident.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But at least the Bruins forward won't be missing any games for his actions.
