The Boston Bruins host the Buffalo Sabres tonight and they're hoping for a better result than their 6-4 loss to the Sabres last Friday.
While the B's have taken some rough injuries this year they got some good news on Thursday.
Defenseman
Brandon Carlo was on the ice Thursday with his teammates in a regular jersey.
Carlo hasn't played since April 1 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
After practice head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed that Carlo is getting close but won't play tonight. Instead, Cassidy said he'll hopefully return some time next week during either game against the New Jersey Devils.
He would definitely be a welcome addition back to the lineup.
