The Boston Bruins have made the history books a few times this season already, but they're looking for more!
The Bruins set one of the more impressive records a couple of weeks ago when they won 12 consecutive home wins to start a season. The previous record had only been accomplished twice in league history. Boston now has the record up to 13, and a few more wins will give them another one.
Including playoffs, the Bruins improved to 20-0-0 on home ice since April 16th and became the fifth team in NHL history to reach 20 consecutive victories (regular season and playoffs).
The 1975-76 Philadelphia Flyers hold the all-time record at 24, with the 2011-12 Red Wings (23), 1984-85 Flyers (20) and 1929-30 Bruins (20) following.
