The Boston Bruins have got things rolling with a couple of wins in a row and look like they're coming out of their funk.
All the while Jake DeBrusk has remained a Bruin despite his trade request almost two weeks ago.
With head coach Bruce Cassidy having been placed in quarantine because of COVID he hasn't been able to comment on the situation.
He was asked about it today and dropped a pretty interesting quote.
"I think it was Mike Tomlin who said 'it's always better to have volunteers than hostages.'That being said I think we're handling it well as a group and he's being as professional as possible"
There's been lots of chatter that the trade request mostly comes because of the Cassidy-DeBrusk relationship which has totally fallen apart.
However it's good to see that DeBrusk is staying engaged and trying to help the group as much as he can.
