The Boston Bruins' number one priority is signing star winger David Pastrnak to a contract extension, and hopefully at max-term.
Reports from this past offseason were that Pasta was going to receive at least $80 to $100 million on a max-term deal, which would be an AAV range of $10 to $12.5 million.
However, as @BruinsCapSpace shared on Twitter, that may not be the case:
''From my perspective, he is not going to get ''$80-100M''. Comps for Pasta below.''
Especially with the majorly successful season he's having; Pasta is slowly costing more and more for Don Sweeney and the Bruins.
