The NHL is working consistently to try and get something done to save the 2019-20 season.
However with people still on lockdown and so many questions regarding the coronavirus, the season might be lost.
One of the possibilities that has been brought up whether the season is saved or canceled, we'll likely see the salary cap stay the same next year.
If that's the case, the Boston Bruins will be in a tough spot next year and likely having to watch one of their top players walk.
Defenseman Torey Krug will be a free agent whenever this season is over and it's no secret he can get a huge payday on the open market with offers possibly at $7-8million a season.
Jim Parsons of The Hockey Writers reports that speculation continues to build that he'll get that payday from the Detroit Red Wings.
Are you expecting Krug to be back next year?
