John Tortorella starts his tenure with the Flyers in controversial style

For reference, Tortorella was once suspended for trying to fight the entire Calgary Flames roster and coaches outside the dressing room when he was still with the Vancouver Canucks. That alone tells you what you need to know about his temper.

'Torts' has never been best friends with media, or his players, but he's a coach who demands the best effort and accountability from his team every night. That's what the Philadelphia Flyers were looking for when they hired Tortorella on June 17th.

However, with those good qualities also comes the bad. Most notably is when the veteran coacj doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut.
