Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev may have gotten away with one of the most obvious penalties on Thursday night.
As Tampa Bay was hosting the Vancouver Canucks, things got heated around Andrei Vasilevskiy, and it ended with Sergachev punching an unsuspecting Conor Garland right in the face.
And it somehow went uncalled. Check it out:
Apparently, the Canucks were already on the powerplay and fans are stating that's why no penalty was called.
Is this another example of refs controlling the game too much?
