We've heard the Boston Bruins tied to plenty of forwards who could help the top six leading up to the trade deadline.
Unfortunately the Bruins don't have much cap space and landing one of them would require some interesting maneuvering when it comes to the cap.
However multiple NHL insiders including Elliotte Friedman have connected the Bruins to one Arizona Coyotes forward who wouldn't hurt the cap at all.
Coyotes' forward
Conor Garland seems to be in the Bruins' sights and only carries a $775k cap hit this year before he becomes a restricted free agent this offseason with arbitration rights.
The 25 year old has been ripping it up this season with 9 goals and 16 assists for 25 points in 32 games so far which leads the team in scoring.
"Obvious onlooker: Boston. The Bruins need to score, and he's a onetime junior Bruin. That makes them contractually obligated to trade for him."
Do you think he would be a good cheap fit for the B's?
