NHL on TNT set a milestone that hasn't been reached since 1999.
Game one of the Western Conference Final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Colorado Avalanche saw 1.8 million viewers, which is up 87% from the West Final last season between the Montreal Canadiens and Vegas Golden Knights.
The station finished first in viewers of all people aged 18 to 34 and males aged 18 to 49 and 25 to 54. It was also the most-watched game on cable in Edmonton Oilers history.
It seems as though both TNT and ESPN are doing a great job at growing the NHL, especially in new viewership.
