As good as Patrice Bergeron is with the puck, he's even better away from it. The three-time Selke Trophy winner is often considered as one of, if not the, best defensive forwards to ever play the game.
Despite Bergeron turning 37 years old next summer, he has shown no signs of slowing down.
That's right. Those advanced stats suggest that the Captain is not only playing the best hockey at five-on-five of his career, he's been one of the best forwards of the past 15 years period.
It's impossible to argue that Patrice Bergeron's career has been nothing short of stellar so far. The Bruins captain in less than 50 points away from reaching the 1000-point mark and has maintained a career average just over 0.8 points per game.
