It's been two years since Torey Krug hasn't played at the TD Garden.
The defenseman, who spent the first nine seasons of his 11-year career with the Bruins, is set to return to the rink he called home for such a long time tonight.
Although Krug will be a game-time decision as he's currently dealing with an injury, he has traveled with the Blues and therefore got the chance to reconnect with some old friends.
While it's all fun and games before the puck drops, Krug's former defense partner
Brandon Carlo was quick to point out that it's all business after that.
The 5'9'' Krug was beloved by fans and players alike during his days in Beantown, showing time and time again that size didn't matter when it came to playing a reliable 200-foot game.
After he helped the Bruins reach the 2019 Stanley Cup Final, Krug left for the team they lost to, the St.Louis Blues, in the same off-season.
Despite the change of scenery, Krug left a lasting impact on his former teammates, especially on his former partner Brandon Carlo.
Should Krug be healthy enough to suit up tonight, you can be sure that fans at the Garden will greet him with a warm welcome.
