As reported by Elliotte Friedman, the Dallas Stars have apparently found their next head coach, barring any major changes.
He announced Thursday morning on ''The Jeff Marek Show'' that the Stars are most likely hiring Peter DeBoer as the club's new head coach.
''Barring a major change or something really going wrong in the process, I would expect Pete DeBoer is the guy [in Dallas] ... if it's (him) we could know pretty soon.''
The Boston Bruins are still in search of a new bench boss of course, and their are still some big names left, such as, Barry Trotz, John Tortorella, Paul Maurice, Rick Tocchet etc.
Sweeney has stated that he wants a new face and to stay away from the ''coaching carousel'' per say.
A couple names that stand out are former Providence coach Jay Leach and former Bruins player Marc Savard.
