When you think of NHL players, you probably think of athletes at peak physical condition.
While that may be true, a recent report suggests that several players around the league still partake in a specific unhealthy habit.
Michael Russo of
The Athletic recently conducted a survey with NHL players about what really happens during the intermissions of games.
And some of the results are quite shocking, including that some in the league still smoke cigarettes.
Marcus Foligno: ''Isn't it amazing guys used to smoke between periods?''
Jamie Benn: ''Some guys still do it now. I can't tell you who, but yeah, they do.''
Smoking used to be normal back in the day, but with how strict athletes are nowadays, it's quite surprising that professionals still do.
