Tragic News Strikes The Hockey Community As 21-Year-Old Star Unfortunately Passed Away

The hockey community is at a loss of words after a recent announcement revealed that a player from the Vernal Oilers, O'Shea Red Crow has tragically passed away on Sunday in Calgary.
According to reports, Red Crow was identified as the man who ended up falling off of a skyscraper on Sunday, that would ultimately end up taking his life.
To make matters worse, he was only 21-years-old and still had so much life left to live.
His junior hockey team's facebook page ended up giving him a memorialization to honour him after he passed.
During the 2022-23 season, Red Crow played in the USPHL where he scored 21 points in 22 games. His teammates described him as one of the most feared players.

It was quite the opposite feeling when he wore the same jersey as you though, as his teammates revealed that he was known as a gentle giant in the locker room.
«The definition of a 'gentle giant,' O'Shea was beloved by not only his Oiler teammates and coaches, but also the entire Vernal community,» the post read.
«Our condolences go out to the Red Crow family, his teammates and fans in Vernal, and the entire Siksika Nation.»
Ultimately his time with the Oilers was cut short due to an injury.
Not long after the inncident ended up happening, Red Crow's family ended up being interviewed.
After learning about the passing, another former team of his ended up setting up a memorial for him at the Strathmore Family Center.
«He was a quiet presence in the room, soft-spoken, humble, and always respectful. While he may not have been the loudest voice on the team, he was part of our brotherhood, and his loss is deeply felt by those who shared the ice with him,» the Kings wrote of Red Crow's time with them.
