A Major Turn Of Events Has Surfaced In The Boston Bruins Trading A Star Player

Over the last decade, the Boston Bruins have been a very consistent team, until the 2024-25 season. Before this year, the Bruins made the playoffs for eight straight years.

This year, no one expected them to make the Stanley Cup Finals or go on a run for the Cup, but had high expectations entering the year.

Even thought David Pastrnak was one of the top goal scorers in the league this year, multiple other Boston Bruins players ended up underperforming, and it costed the Bruins their season.

Jeremy Swayman was one of the worst players for the Boston Bruins this season, and it's led to him being in multiple trade rumours during the off-season.

Another player who really struggled was Pavel Zacha, and he has also been in trade rumours because of this.

The Boston Bruins are not a strong team down the middle, and if they cannot find someone to replace Zacha either in free agency or via trade, trading him would not be an ideal move.

Towards the end of the year, Zacha was placed on a line with David Pastrnak and Morgan Geekie, where they found some unmatched chemistry.

If they can find this chemistry going into the 2025-26 season, that line will be a threat for the Boston Bruins.

Zacha may have had a down year having just 14 goals, 33 assists for 47 points, which is his lowest point total since becoming a Boston Bruin, but considering they are hurting down the middle, trading him is not a good idea.
