The Boston Bruins have been dealing with some significant injuries to key players since the beginning of April.
Good news comes to Bruins fans this morning, as head coach Bruce Cassidy addressed the media after Monday morning's practice.
Cassidy noted that
David Pastrnak,
Hampus Lindholm and
Linus Ullmark will not travel with the team on their two-game road trip to St. Louis on Tuesday and Pittsburgh on Thursday. However, they may be back as early as Boston's back-to-back home games next weekend against the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens.
"That's the plan is they [Pastrnak and Lindholm] should be ready that week before [the playoffs] and maybe as early as this weekend. I'm ruling them out for Tuesday/Thursday, not Saturday/Sunday."
He also stated that Jesper Froden sustained a lower-body injury in Saturday's game against the Penguins and will also stay in Boston for the road trip.
