There's only been two periods played but the latest instalment of USA vs Canada is already an instant classic!
The US dominated the first period, scoring two quick ones before Canada answered late. The second was full of fast-paced, back and forth action, and some controversy.
After Canada took a 3-2 lead, the US tied it up at 3-3 with just over seven minutes in. Or so they thought, as the goal was called back after a lengthy - and questionable - goalie interference review.
Another instance where IIHF rules is much more strict than most hockey.
Canada is leading 4-2 after the second period. Shots are 32-26 for the US.
