The NHL trade deadline has been a busy one for the Boston Bruins and General Manager Don Sweeney, and they have now completed another trade.
The Bruins themselves revealed on social media that they have traded
Marc McLaughlin to the New Jersey Devils for defenseman Danii Misyul.
Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, March 7, that the team has acquired defenseman Daniil Misyul from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for forward Marc McLaughlin.
Misyul has only appeared in one game with the Devils this season, but the 6-foot-3 defenseman has played 47 games for the Utica Coments in the AHL scoring just eight assists.
He was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the third-round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft with the 70th overall pick.
The Devils are getting McLaughlin who has appeared in 12 games with the Boston Bruins this season only scoring two goals.
The 6-foot forward has played the majority of this year in the AHL with the Providence Bruins scoring 26 goals, and 32 assists for 58 points.
Best of luck McLaughlin, and welcome to Boston Misyul.
